Product Description

The have a residual current operated electromechanical release which operates without any auxiliary source of supply to open a circuit automaticlly in the case of an earth leakage fault between phase and earth greater than or equal to a threshold of 10mA,30mA,100mA,300mA or 500mA.

RCCBs/ RCDs are designed to quickly enough to mitigate the harm caused by such shocks although they are not intended to provide protection against overload or conditions.
